My research is to do with the dissemination of content and information in online social networks - particularly Twitter. I am supervised by Dr Stuart Allen and Prof Roger Whitaker.

Currently, I am studying retweeting - a way in which information is forwarded and passed around Twitter's social structure - in the hope that it will help me understand how and why people spread information.

We are trying to develop a system to model the retweeting phenomenon as accurately as possible in terms of the properties of how information is spread.
